A Unique Child

four themed approach 1.png

At our nursery, we recognise that each child is always learning and can be resilient, capable and self-assured. It is our duty to work on their development, safety, health and well-being.

Practitioners follow the child’s own interests and combine that with education to nurture a fun learning environment where they can develop at their own rate. No child is left behind and all individual needs are met.

Positive Relationships

Children can learn to be strong and independent through positive relationships with their parents/guardians/Key Person*/friends etc. Themes we focus on include respect, partnership with parents, supportive learning and the role of the Key Person.

*Each child has their own designated Key Person who ensures that their learning and care are tailored to meet individual needs.

Enabling Environments

The environment in which our children grow up in forms a huge part of their development and learning. We commit to observation, assessment and planning.

Home learning

Their learning environment doesn’t just stop at our nursery - the experience continues on to your home! We check in with our parents regularly, often giving them ideas on how to further support their child’s development. Please click here to read more on ‘Parental Involvement’.

Learning and Development
